How Treatment Works
Using ablative therapy with a diathermy machine, we precisely target and remove unwanted skin lesions. This method is safe, hygienic, and causes minimal discomfort. With regards to cysts, large comedones, and imbedded ingrown hair, the area will be lanced and removed. Depending on the type of lesion treated, you may experience slight irration and small scabs that will heal within a short period.
Aftercare and Healing
Following your treatment, you will receive clear aftercare instructions to support healing and reduce any risk of irritation. While the chances of scarring is minimal, there is a small possibility that a mark may remain after treatment.
Consultation and Referral
Before any treatment, we conduct a thorough consultation to assess the lesion and discuss the best treatment plan. If any lesion is beyond our scope - such as larger skin tags, moles, or unidentified growths - we will refer you to our registered nurse, David Mansley RGN from i-facial Dorset. He runs his medical aesthetics practice within Dorchester Aesthetics Centre and can assess, diagnose, and potentially treat more complex cases.
